Q. What can I expect when I come to church?
A. Coming to a new space and meeting new people for the first time can be intimidating and nerve-wracking. We totally get that! So, we want to help make your first experience at Solid Rock a great one! Our family friendly atmosphere will give you an at-home feeling right away. We have coffee, tea, and donuts, because we know what a feat it is to get you and your family out the door on a Sunday morning, and you all deserve a little treat for that!
Q. How long is the Sunday Service?
A. In total, an average service starts at 10:30 and ends right around 12 noon!
Services begin with our worship team leading us in worship. (Song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.)
After the music portion of service is complete, the children are dismissed to their classes, and one of our teaching elders will come up to share a message from Scripture.
Because we are a Holy Spirit-led community, our services tend to look a little different each week. We absolutely love how the Holy Spirit moves in such a powerful way in our services!
Q.What is your worship service like?
A. Our primary focus is to minister to the heart of God. We sing songs that focus on praising, glorifying and worshiping God, as we invite Him to align our reality with His. We are Holy Spirit filled, and Holy Spirit led.
Q. What do you have for children?
A. We highly value the privileged responsibility it is to disciple children in SolidRock Kids.
Our desire is to create and cultivate a safe, belonging and fun place for children to experience the Love of God and discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
Your kid’s safety is top priority. Because of that, we have a secure check-in process, team member screening and training for all involved in Citypoint Kids.
Make sure to leave yourself some extra time before service to get your kids checked in - We have classes for children toddler-aged to 3rd grade.
Q. I’d like to get more involved, how can I do that?
A. That’s GREAT! We love when friends turn into family! You can fill out the form under our volunteer tab, and one of our leaders will be in touch with you ASAP! Or you can ask any of the leaders you see at church and they will point you in the right direction!
